Heromine had ran like an ostrich for many a mile she was tired when she reached Glendas. Heromine's 'wings' (arms) where flapping up and down as she saw Glenda's cabin come into view. "AHHH!!! THERE IT IS" Heromine yelled. After hearing her own voice she was very much confused. "I can talk?" she asked her self. It hadn't ocured to the confused Heromine that when she had coughed she had turned back into her human self. When she came back to reality it was to late to put on her breaks. "AHH!!! AHH!!!" Heromine screamed flapping her arms legs flailing as the ran. "Prepare for impact!!! PREPARE FOR..." BANG Heromine hit Glenda's wooden door frame. "Impact" she said falling on to her back.

Glenda had just placed the kettle on to boil when she heard an odd commotion coming from outside. At first, she had tried to ignore it, but then there was a distinct thump on her wall, and Glenda became concerned enough to investigate. Catiousley, the older woman walked across the house and opened the door of her cottage. There was Heromine, laying sprawled on the ground. "Oh dear." Glenda murmered to herself, leaping off the steps and kneeling next to the fallen figure. She didn't bother to ask what had happened. She couldn't expect a stright answer anyhow. "Lets get you inside. I've just put the kettle on dear" Glenda then proceded to take Heromine's arm and attempt to lift her from the ground.

Glenda started and jumped back a bit when Heromine lept from the earth. She smiled and shook her head at the old woman's antics, and followed the bubbling Heromine into the cottage. "no, I hadn't heard. odd. hope he doesn't cause any trouble" Glenda walked to the wood stove where the water was now boiling, and began to fix up two cups of tea.
Glenda smiled, her back facing Heromine as she mixed some milk into the tea. Heromine was a dear freind, even though she was often a bit less sane than the average person. But, Glenda found she loved Heromine's attitude towards the world. And, Heromine was a wonderful healer. Her techniques, as Glenda had noticed, had changed throughout the years. It seemed that Heromine had lost a bit more of her mentality, what with the pot and wooden spoon now. Also, the incedent with running smack into the house. But, that was just Heromine for you.
Glenda turned back around, carrying two cups of tea, and set them both on the table, returning to the counter once to bring over the pot of tea. "why don't you sit down and join me for tea" Glenda suggested, knowing that Heromine was just as fond of tea as she was. She could remember over the years the visits they had, and the tea they had drunk. It was mostly quite pleasant.

"Ok Darlin" Heromine said sitting down. She slightly laughed when Sirona's head came through the window. "It was her that told me that Reme was still up and runnin' " Heromnine said gently. When it came to her healing and friends she was always serious.

Glenda sat down across from Heromine and watched as the steam rose from her cup of tea, waiting for it to cool down, as it was quite hot. Her attention was soon drawn to the black head of the unicorn, Sirona, as Heromine mentioned her. She was not at all surprised to see the beautiful creature, as she often made appearences when Heromine was around.
"Ah, yes. Sirona."
Glenda murmered, watching the unicorn for a while before tearing her gaze away. Thoughts of Reme brought her back to the older days when her sister, Temporence was still around. Reme and Sirus had been working for Temporence. Spys, and not very good at their work. She wondered what had become of them. Sirus, she knew, had taken to barding. But, she had not yet gotten word of his visit to Kaytale.

Heromine nodded sowly. "Eh Sirona you told me pretty girl" Heromine said taking a sip from her cup. "So what have been you planes for the recent activity with Kaon?" Heromine asked. SHe had heard that some people where alloud into the barrier of Kaon but only some. So that ment the barrier was weakening or that the Queen was coming back.

Glenda listened carfully to Heromines words. Yes, she had noticed everything happening with Kaon, and it was a concern in the back of her mind that she hadn't really thought of too much. a slight wrinkle creased between the old womans thin eye brows, and she bit her lip in a breif moment of thought. "yes. Kaon. that is a bit of a worry, isn't it" she muttered slowly. "well, there isn't much to be done so far. It is obviouse that the time is coming soon that the rightful heir to the throne must return to Kaon, and that there will be beings to try and stop her, and those to try and help. So far, my part in all of this has not arrived. or, if it has, it has not shown itself." a gnarled hand wrapped delicatly around the thin porceline handle of the tea cup, and raised it to thin, slightly wrinkled lips. As glenda poured some more of the soothing, hot liquid down her throat, her green eyes glazed over slightly with deep thought. She knew about the prophecy of Kaon. not all folk did...and sadly enough the ones who did wanted nothing more than to get to the prone island kingdom before the heir returned. But, of course, the enchantments would not allow it. The island was hidden, and could only be reached by with the girl. Glenda knew that this ment that the greedy lords wanted nothing more than to get their hands on that girl, and use her. If the lord of kaskelale, or - a shudder passed through glenda at this coming thought- avrix...the outcome would be, should we say, VERY unpleasant. this could not happen. no...the princess must be returned to her people. to her island kingdom.

Heromine looked over Glenda as she though. Sirona felt tesntiy glaze over the room. She wickered though very little sound came out of her muzzle. Heromine raised her own cup to her lips took a long sip. She didn't know what to say. BUt she knew when Kaon did show itself there would be much blood shed and death. She hated her job if you could cal it that at times when she had to heal all evil or good but that is what she had sworn to do as a child when she discovered her powers and she wasn't planing on going back on them now.
