Arya was led across a broad hallway to the end where the queen sat waiting. The two gaurds breifly bowed to the royal figure, then stepped back, thrusting the prisoner forwards as they did so. They stood, hands clamped behind their backs, ready to lunge if the prisoner tried to run. But, if she did try to run, she wouldn't get very far.
the queen, Thayet, watched Arya for a moment, before the Queen began to speak. "You are charged with vandalism of the villiage, and robery. what do you have to say in defense of yourself?"

(Sirona)
Arya moved easily into the hall and looked up at the Queen. She listened to her words carfully. what did Raylin steal this time? Arya thought to herself. When she was younger Raylin always went around to many different cities stealing objects that ment nothing. "I have to say that I did not do what havock has been done to your city. My sister, Raylin, did it, not I. Her power is of fire, mine is of ice. I did not set your houses on fire." Arya said calmly.

The Queen steadily gazed at the girl before her, blue-green eyes revealing nothing of what she thought inside. "I am under obligations to beleive what you say. Please let it be the truth" She spoke solumnly. She never did like trials, but she tried to be as just as she could. "I will have to ask you to preform your power, and make ice appear on the floor. Also, I'd like to know what you were doing these past few days. Your ware abouts, and who you were with" The Queen waited patiently for an answer.

Arya listened, glad that the Queen had listened to her words, as many did not. "I can not use my power your magesty, but I can give you proof. Ask Sirus, or the gaurd, as they have both fallen for my trap" Arya said kindly. "I have been traveling to com,e to your city with Sirus the man I came with... the man I injured" Arya said the last part quieter then the rest. She had relised now that what she had done was a crime. She felt bad for it now and had felt worse after she relised what she had done. But what was done was done.

The Queen stared blankly at the girl before her, then adressed the gaurds. "is this true? she has the power of ice?" The gaurds both nodded curtly, the older gaurd looking slightly annoyed at the mention of the ice. The Queen then turned to Arya. "you say 'your trap'. define what you mean."

"I say trap, because people can die from a trap or from my ice. They are the same to me as I killed many people with my power when I was a little girl" Arya said. She looked around to the Queen and then the gaurds. She hated being stared at. She felt as though she were a bird, trapped in a cage.

Brushing out a wrinkle from her pale blue gown, the Queen listened to Arya with interest. She nodded slowly before speaking. "You say you came with Sirus. You also say you were the one to injure him...would you tell me how this happened?" The queen stared at Arya, her gaze seeming to peirce through the girls eyes. She didn't know yet wether to beleive the girls word, or to take her as the culprit. But, perhaps she would call in Sirus as a witness, or talk to him later, depending on wether he was able to leave his bedrest.

"yes, I came with Sirus, and I injured him because my temper rose. I didn't mean to do it so painfully or sharply, but whats done is done." Arya said, her words were chosen carfully as she didn't want to offend anybody. She stared back to the gaurds. She hated them being there. She wouldn't have minded so much with just the Queen.

The Queen said nothing for some time. She was deciding what she should do about Arya, and wether or not she found her guilty of treason, or innocent and free to go. Sirus's word, of course, might help with the case, and so she was planning on sending for him as soon as she could. Her thin, dark eyebrows creased slightly with though, as she continued to plan inside her head.
She was looking quite stunning in a low necked blue evening gown, and her black hair was swept up and pinned ontop of her head. Her milky white skin was starting to darken a bit, since she had been receiving more sun latley, but it was still fairly pale, and contrasted with the night black of her hair. Her blue-green eyes were rimmed with a small amount of black make-up, her cheecks slightly rosey.
She often was one to dress simply, especially for trials and such. The dress she was wearing was simple, but nice enough, and she looked pretty no matter what she wore anyhow. But, it wasn't that she really took much pride in her appearance. All she knew was that she had to look half decent, and clean, to set a good image for herself as Queen. She wanted to be the best she could be.
Thayet suddenly pulled herself from her thoughts, and blinked, staring up at Arya. "Alright. I'm going to send for Sirus, prooving, of course, that he is well enough to leave bed for a short while." After saying so to Arya, she turned to the youngest gaurd. "would you mind fetching Sirus? ask him if he's well enough to leave bed, and tell him the circumstances" The gaurd nodded and rushed off, clamping his hand down on his hat so that the rush wouldn't tug it off his scalp as it had been when he fell from the chair.
Thayet sighed as she waited, gaze wandering down to the marbel tiled floor, then traveled up the pale coloured walls, along the pillors engraved with elaborate markings of flowers and vines. The room was large and long, like a hallway, and it seemed to her quite empty, even though bright where large windows allowed sun to seep through. She often wished she wasn't a Queen, confined in her own prison between the walls, but she was, and she would do as well as she could to her people.
They didn't have to wait long before an outraged Sirus marched into the room, using a crutch to make sure he didn't put too much pressure on the assualted leg. The leg had clean bandages on it, wrapped around his tigh. There was a tiny stain if crimson on the brilliant white, but the blood flow had mainly stopped up by now, with help from the pallace medics and healers. They had done what they could. He marched across the room, as well as an injured man could march, and stared at the Queen, then at Arya.
"what the hell is going on here?" he questioned briskly, dark eyes cearly demanding an answer. The Queen calmly explained that the girl was on trial for assualt to the villiage, and Sirus shook his head angrilly. "she's on trial for nothing. Let her go now." It seemed to him that no more needed to be said, and so he turned to go. The queen, in turn, demanded that he stop and tell her why she should let the girl go, and Sirus did so, his explanation containing a string of curses and foul words.
The queen remained calm and stone faced as she watched the screaming man. She blinked once, twice, then nodded, biting her lip slightly. "okay. I can see that we have been mistaken, and that you have been wrongly accused" The Queen watched as Sirus silently mocked her, mouthing her words and moving his hands like chicken beaks. When he saw her looking at him, he emedietly dropped his hands to his sides, and tried to look as innocent as he could manage. "AND SO. we will allow you to leave on your own accord. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience." She continued, pretending not to notice Sirus in the least.

Arya waited for Sirus to walk down into the hallway. She knew he was coming as he would never miss a chance to yell. As he came down she waited to see what he would say to the queen. She was socked by the words chosen by Sirus, as it was far from what she expected. She laughed inwardly as she saw Sirus's hands go up and down like chicken beaks while his silent mocking went on. She laughed even harder inside when she had seen the queen turn to look at Sirus. She listened to the Queen's words carfully. "Thank you your magesty. I will be staying untill I'm sure Sirus is okay" Arya nodded breifly and then turned to leave.

The Queen nodded slowly. "If you'd like, we will provide you with a room to stay in." She offered. It seemed only fair to her, after the girl had been so wrongly accused. There was plenty of room in the castle, and Thayet didn't mind more company.
Sirus, on the other hand, didn't exactly warm up to the concept. "what? her stay here in the castle? She's already caused enough trouble! wait untill she's sure I'm better. HAH. well, I'll let you in on a little secret...I'm BETTER. I was never not better. I was always better" he continued on as he hobbled off down the hallway, not glancing backwards.
The Queen waited silently untill Sirus was gone, then chuckled softly to herself. He may have been a changed man, but he was still Sirus, and that much was for sure. "you should take no notice of him. I'm sure he'd be glad if you stayed" Even as she said so, her eyes twinkled mischeviousley. "he might not say so, but he is"

Arya thought over the Queen's proposal. She barly listned to Sirus's blabber. She had not known him long, but she did know one thing about him. He always said stuff to get his way, even if it was not true. "I will take up your offer, thank you." Arya said to the Queen. She was once again facing her, this time not as an afriad little bird, but as a free little bird. "so, where would my room be?" Ayra asked.

Thayet smiled, glad that her offer had been accepted. "well, you'll just have to take the guest room I suppose." after a moments hesitation, the Queen seemed to brighten up, and she lept to her feet.
"well, lets go then. You'll want to get settled in." With that, Thayet headed off down the hallway happily, a slight spring in her step. "we've never had guests before" she said, more to herself than anyone else.

Ayra followed quickly behind the Queen. She was so surprised by the Queen's actions. Before she had just seemed upset to be there, but now she seemed happy and joyful. She wanted to see what the room looked like, as she had never stayed in the palace before, and rarley did she sleep in a bed.
